Children's Half-Term party

Les from the Wheatsheaf kindly organised a party for ALL the children who attend the school, parent's and teachers were welcome too .. if they behaved!.
Children's Banner Stolen

Devastating news and a blow to the campaign today. Between the early hours of friday evening and saturday morning the children's banner has been stoled and several hands have been taken from the railings to be ripped up and scattered along the pathway.
Non-uniform day

A non-uniform day was planned by the children to raise funds for the Save Our School Campaign. This was the children's way of helping the campaign and has raised £76.
Hands off Our School

Laminated cut-outs of Boldon C of E pupils hands have been tied around the school gates today. A "Hands of Our School" banner was also proudly erected to represent the strong feelings of the children.
Campaign update

Its been a busy week on the campaign front. Up until last week we were purely working on an operational level, with parents and supporters arranging the next step to keep us in the public eye, but the group has now split with a strategy group being formed to lead on the creation of our response to the TOPS report.

Exciting to some more than others, comes the news that Google has now added our website to their database. From today searches related to save our school will present us in the result pages, and impressivley high too. Will it bring us more visitors?
Progress update

Apologies for the delay in posting an update and for the overall lack of progress with the website, we are now back on track and this update contains information about the meetings held on Wednesday and forthcoming Q&A sessions with local councilors and the Diocese.
Author and Columnist Mike Hallowell shows his support

Mike Hallowell, an author and columnist who resides within the Boldon Community, has taken time to create a web page detailing his reasons as to why he believes Boldon C of E Primary should play as big a part in the future of our community as it has in its history.

As reported yesterday we got our first regional news coverage in the Shields Gazette hitting the first page and getting page 5 to ourselves too.
